Security Council role under Resolution 2231 has ended: Iran

TEHRAN, Dec. 23 (MNA) – The Iranian UN envoy thanked Russia and China for their opposition to the UNSC meeting Tuesday and their compliance with the former deal, JCPOA, stressing that the Resolution 2231 expired on October 18, 2025.
